This cup is designed by Mr. Motohiro Ando, graphic designer from SUN-AD Co., Ltd.
We found that the roundness of the lip was appropriate for the shape of the rim. We strive for the lacquer ware with the ultimate roundness which has gentle and moist feelings to the touch. The feature of this rim makes you enjoy the smoothness of lacquer ware.
It has a breathtaking gentle feeling when you use. Also, you will be surprised at how light it is when you hold it. It is made of Hiba (Thujopsis dolabrata) wood which is very light. This vessel will change your perception of lacquer ware.
Black, reddish vermillion, white, and yellowish vermillion, these colors are traditional colors of lacquer that has decorated our life.

A distinctive feature is this rim. We finally found that the roundness of the lip was appropriate for the shape of the rim as we would like to utilize gentle touch of lacquer vessel.
These colors are traditional colors of lacquer that has decorated our life since ancient times. As you use it, a soft sheen will develop and the color will get brighter.（White／Yellowish vermillion／Reddish vermillion／Black）
There are two kinds of size. Alcoholic drinks, tea, juices, and other hot or cold drinks are acceptable for this vessel. A thick drink such as pureed fresh vegetables or fruit juice is recommended to drink with this cup.
