SPOON
The spoons made by Wajima Kirimoto (which is good at processing hollowed wooden cores) are very light and have a smooth feel in the hand. Lacquer coated spoons do not convey heat easily, therefore they do not become either hot or cold. As it has a smooth feel on the mouth and the tongue, a baby does not give it back at once. In the Kirimoto family, the used spoons were used as a teathers.
